About Electrex Industrial Services

Electrex Company, Inc. was founded in 1957 with the goal to become a first-rate electrical contractor in the metropolitan Detroit area. Over the years, our electrical products and services have expanded to include high voltage and primary/welding services, emergency power generation, lighting and power distribution.

In 1988, we formed a Controls and Automation Division and launched a wide variety of PLC controls and stand-alone automated systems. As our company sales grew, so did our list of products, services and innovative systems.

Ten years later, Electrex created a Mechanical Division to handle an increasing demand for services such as structural fabrication, process piping, hydraulic, water and pneumatic-driven systems.

In 2003, Electrex established a Plating and Metal Finishing Division. With the hiring of engineers, project managers and field personnel, with over 75 combined years of plating and metal finishing experience, this allowed us to make an immediate impact on the industry.

In 2008, we consolidated all of our divisions and we began operating as Electrex Industrial Services - North America. This change enables us to more efficiently utilize our resources to provide a full range of industrial products and services for our customers’ expanding needs.

We continually produce highly competitive estimates and assign awarded projects to our professional management staff that executes the project in accordance with your schedule. Together, the Electrex team maintains high standards, meeting or exceeding the safety regulations of OSHA, ANSI, NEC, and JIC. Our experiences range throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

We also take pride in our advanced working environment that allows us to output unsurpassed services and products. Electrex Co., Inc. has a 65,000 sq. ft. modern, energy-efficient (SMART) facility with an advanced electrical design, fully stocked warehouse, custom panel assembly, CAD and as-built drawing capabilities. It also contains 35 fully equipped specialty service and construction vehicles with all the necessary equipment. We provide our customers with 24-hour emergency service for all maintenance requirements.
